Your vintage piece might have been plated, washed or flashed with gold. These finishes might naturally age or fade over time, depending on their fineness and care. Likewise, sterling silver will naturally tarnish and will need polishing.

Your jewellery or watch should not be worn while swimming, bathing, exercising or sleeping and should always be stored carefully to avoid scratching against other jewellery.

Your jewellery or watch should never be put in contact with chemicals (perfume, hair spray, chlorine, detergents, creams, etc.), direct sunlight or objects that may damage or cause scratches.

To clean your jewellery or watch, we advise the use of a soft cloth with gentle rubbing. Please be aware that any vigorous scrubbing might be harmful for plated items. 

All our watches are checked for operation and timekeeping before sale. This information is disclosed on the product page. Some are in working condition, some will work with a new battery, some will not be working, and we cannot say if they will even after replacing the battery. Due to vintage and pre-loved items' nature, they cannot be guaranteed to maintain functionality or regular timekeeping as this depends on a number of factors including age, quality of the movement and conditions of use of the particular watch.
